Welcome to my blog! This is a space where I will share more about my life, things I love, and people who inspire me. I am in no way a professional writer so I apologize in advance for the misspellings and run on sentences that are bound to happen.
Getting to know Shekinah more through instagram has been such a pleasure and co-hosting the #boldstyleweek challenge with her was my favorite challenge ever, without a doubt. Shekinah's style is always inspiring me and the resources on her blog are so helpful and motivating, check it out here!
I had the opportunity to talk with Kat of Pamut Apparel a few months ago. It was a pleasure to get to know her more and I very much enjoy wearing the clothes that she makes. I hope you enjoy the interview as much as I did.
I had the opportunity to talk with Christine of Garb & Go a few weeks ago. It was a pleasure to get to know her more and work together to create the #gotosummergarb challenge which starts Monday, May 25th. I hope you enjoy the interview as much as I did.
Rachel has lived in Oregon for two years. She has been a therapist for 5 years and runs the Fallow Fields Clothing instagram. Her instagram has evolved from a place to sell vintage clothing to a place to share her own makings, style different items, and review different brands. Rachel used to sell her makings as well but has recently taken a break to only sewing for herself to experiment more and find more joy in it.
I'm a creature of habit and when it comes to shoes flats are what I gravitate towards. This year I was determined to change that by adding a heel to my closet that could be worn often. When I found out about Huma Blanco their unique heel shapes stood out to me. One thing I didn't think was that I would actually be able to wear those heels out for everyday wear. The style fit my aesthetic but the height sent my feet curling back up into their house slippers. Thankfully Huma Blanco's store front is right in my city so I thought 'why not' and went to try them on thinking...
I feel like I have a good amount of shoes, but I do end up buying a lot of similar styles. As a result, the variety in my shoe selection is at times lacking. When I first heard about Wilder I was in awe of their shoe selection. Everything they offer would work with my closet, but all the items seemed to have a twist on the classic styles, especially the Bettison. Hello to just the variety I was missing!
